The only challenger to Album Of The Year [of 2011], for me, yet completely different. Joey Eppard and his band 3 are instantly recognisable, both the guitar work and extensive vocal range are particularly distinctive. Somehow little-known in the UK, the band have a solid following in their native USA and joined Opeth, Dream Theater and Between The Buried And Me for the Progressive Nation tour a few years ago. 3 play solid Rock Music with a Progressive twist and have delivered another absolute work of art.
